It's an icy Saturday in January so I finally have some time get caught up on the blog with some pictures of George hanging out with friends and family on our visit to WA last month. It will never cease to amaze me how fast two weeks can go by! It always sounds like a good chunk of time but then it arrives, you blink, and it's over. Still, very thankful for the the time George was able to spend with these people. We hope to have more visits with more friends and family in 2017.
First stop on the parade of friends - Duane and Eric! Two of our oldest and dearest (Nick and the guys have been friends since junior high), we were super lucky that Eric happened to be visiting from Chicago while we were in town. Terrie Rae and Chris hosted a lovely lunch and we thoroughly loved our time, though too short, together.

George also enjoyed hanging out with flute friends, Amanda and Krissie, from Mommy's days at PLU. And we all got to meet Krissie's beau, Jeff! With wonderful friends like these it doesn't matter how many years have gone by between visits, we laugh, cry and chat together like it's only been a few hours since our last rehearsal or meal at the UC.

And then of course, there is family. It is certainly difficult to be 1,800+ miles away from these folks, especially now with George. Just have to make the most of the time we do have!

George experiences walking on moss for the first time.
He opted for the pavement pretty quickly, that moss is crazy stuff!
